Q: Do you give free estimates ?
A: Yes, and no. On small jobs we will give a free estimate.
On larger jobs we will work up a one page proposal free of charge. If we both agree to continue, the next step is for us to work up a detailed estimate, drawings, and contract documents suitable for your lender, and for obtaining building permits. We will charge for this time. If, after reviewing these contract documents, you decide to proceed and sign a contract with Doug Ausperk Construction Ltd., your contract preparation fee will be credited to your first progress payment. If you decide to not sign a contract with us, the fee is not refundable.

Q: Do you warranty your work ?
A: Yes ! Although the industry norm is 1 year, we warrant our work for 2 years. Our warranty is detailed in our contact, and is written in plain english.

Q: Is there a written contract, or do we
work on a "handshake deal" ?
A: Everything is in writing, written in plain english, in 14 pt type- no fine print.
